How long does an engine conversion take?
Short answer: Probably somewhere between 40 to 60 hours.
Longer answer: It's going to depend on a variety of things: the make/model of the engine, the transmission being used, and the vehicle that’s being repowered.
If you're looking to convert something pre-computer, a set of engine mounts and a few adapters can get you there pretty fast. Then it's just a matter of the fabrication, wiring, and welding necessary to get fuel delivery, cooling, and exhaust systems sorted out.
